THE LORD'S SUPPER will be served during our worship today. Everyone who knows Jesus as Savior is invited to participate in taking communion.
THE PREACHING TODAY is the second message in a sermon series called "The Teacher Says." This series is a study of the book of Ecclesiastes, an Old Testament book that helps us separate what is meaningless from what is truly meaningful.
A MEETING FOR THOSE WHO ARE CONSIDERING CHURCH MEMBERSHIP is planned for today, immediately following the worship service. We will cover the basics about Hope Church's history, beliefs and practices.
TONIGHT our church will conduct a baptism service. There will be songs of praise, testimonies of salvation, prayers and baptisms. You are invited. 6:00 pm. At the Maranatha Baptist Church building, 6250 Gilmore Street, Belleville, Mich, 48111.
THE FUR RENDEZVOUS TALENT SHOW is less than two weeks away. Here are the key facts:
• This is our church's annual evangelistic talent show. It's fun with an eternal purpose.
• It's always on the third Friday in February. This year, it's Friday, February 17.
• Location: Plymouth First United Methodist Church building, 45201 North Territorial, Plymouth, Mich.
• Schedule: 5:00—set up for food and talent. 6:00—reception with food. 6:45—talent show begins.
• The food is organized by Lina Soper. 936-520-4604
• An invitation to the talent show is included in the bulletin today. Who will you invite?
NEW BABY: Stephen and Amy Sipp are the proud parents of a baby girl. Danielle Rebecca Sipp was born Thursday afternoon, February 2, at the University of Michigan Hospital. She weighed 6 lb, 12 oz. If you would like to provide a meal to the family, please contact Girlie Griffeth, 248-875-4427 .
